Lova Journal
Each year we publish a journal which is sent to members. It consists of research articles, (photo)essays, fieldwork reflections, interviews, book reviews, and provides news about Lova activities and members.
We select research articles for publication according to (ethnographic) quality, originality, and methodological and/or theoretical novelty. These articles of a maximum of 6000 words are peer-reviewed. Fieldwork reflections, essays, and book reviews can vary from 700 to 2000 words. Lova Journal also welcomes visual contributions, such as illustrations, photographs, drawings, maps, and info-graphics – all of which can be experiential and experimental.
In particular, we encourage Master’s and PhD students to publish their ideas and findings in the journal and offer them support in the writing process. Lova Journal also welcomes contributions of graduates working within a non-academic environment.
